A mid-size manufacturing group in Centurion was running critical ERP and inventory systems on ageing on-premises servers with no offsite backup. A single hardware failure could have meant days of downtime and significant data loss.
We designed and implemented a hybrid backup architecture using Veeam Backup & Replication with Google Cloud Storage as the offsite target. Five production VMs are now backed up nightly with automated verification, and a secondary cloud-based Veeam server provides replication capability for disaster recovery. Email alerts notify the IT team of any backup failures within minutes.
